New single “Broken Heart of Gold” & Open call for music video submission
The new single “Broken Heart of Gold” released on May 28th will be the official theme song for the live action movie Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning. Unlike “Renegades”, this song is an emotional medium ballad with a piano melody that closely resembles the film. The band created this single in England with Dan Lancaster, a longtime collaborator responsible for producing the band’s other hits including “Taking Off” and “Eye of the Storm”.

Regardless of experience, nationality or age, any entrant is welcome to submit their work in any video style. The winning entrant of the “Best video” prize will receive 500,000-Yen cash and have their video posted on ONE OK ROCK’s YouTube channel as the official music video, so don’t hesitate and apply.
